I grew up in New York producing events, everything from 7,000-person gatherings to boutique programs at top venues. Eighteen years ago I came to Costa Rica and built VIDA, our own retreat center. We hosted some of the best teachers in the world and thousands of guests, and I sold it to Selina Hotel Group, then spent five years helping them scale a dozen retreat centers across the region.
Since then I have advised more than forty projects across six countries, from one-acre sanctuaries to communities of over a thousand acres, and closed more than $50M in real estate. I have been on projects that worked and projects that failed. Both are worth their weight in gold when it is your capital on the line.
